PRIVACY POLICY


This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) governs the way Zupe Group Limited (“Zupe“, “us“, “we” or “our” as the case may be) collect and process your personal data. This Privacy Policy forms part of the Terms of Service. In the event of a discrepancy between the Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy will prevail. Terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
 
1.    We may collect and receive information from you in the following situations:
1.1. When you register for an account with us (“Account”).
1.2. When you choose to connect your Account with an external third-party service or application, such as Google, Apple, Facebook, or any other third-party login provider we make available on the Platform.
1.3. When you use the features and functions available on our Services, for example, by creating listings, interacting with other users through our chat feature, or transacting with other users.
1.4. If you contact us, for example, with a query or to report a problem.
1.5. When you register for a survey, campaign, contest, and/or lucky draw with us.
1.6. When you interact with us offline or through an external third party.

2.    You are under no obligation to provide the information to us. However, if you choose to withhold the information or to revoke permission for us to receive the information, we may be unable to provide certain aspects of our Services to you.
3.    We may collect and receive the following information. Please note that not all of our Services collect all of the information listed below:
3.1. Account credentials such as username.
3.2. Profile information such as name, gender, email address, profile photo, mobile number, and date of birth.
3.3. Information required for making purchases (including payment and shipping services and buyer protection services) such as credit or debit card details, bank account, address, and mobile number;
3.4. Residential address, for instance for the delivery of your purchases;
3.5. Aggregate data collected through the use of our Services.
3.6. Any communications between you and another user of our Services.
3.7. Unique identifiers such as device identifier, browser type and settings, device type and settings.
3.8. Any other information disclosed by you in any of the above-mentioned methods and/or through the use of our Services.
3.9. As set forth in our Terms, if you come in possession of another user’s (the “Disclosing Party”) personal data through the use of the Services you agree that you will (1) comply with all applicable personal data protection laws with respect to any such data, including any collection, processing, storage or transfer of such data; (2) allow Zupe or the Disclosing Party whose personal data you have collected (the “Receiving Party”) to remove his or her data so collected from your database; and (3) allow Zupe or the Disclosing Party to review what information has been collected about them by the Receiving Party, in each case of (2) and (3) above, in compliance with and where required by applicable laws. 

4.              Medical and health information.
4.1.  We may use the information collected and received from you for the following purposes and any other purposes that we notify you of at the time of obtaining your consent:
4.2. To verify your identity, update our records, and generally maintain your Account with us.
4.3. Provide our Services and customise the content shown to you.
4.4. Develop, operate, improve, deliver and maintain our Services.
4.5. To process transactions.
4.6. To facilitate, process, or arrange payment and/or shipping services.
4.7. To process or resolve any dispute arising from or in connection with any transactions, in accordance with our Terms of Service.
4.8. To detect or monitor any frauds or other prohibited content, businesses or activities.   
4.9. To Respond to your queries and resolving complaints.
4.10. To facilitate, confirm and/or provide updates or notifications in relation to any transactions.
4.11.              To carry out polls, surveys, analysis and research on how our Services are being used and how we can improve them.
4.12.              To update you on the content you have marked as being of interest to you (e.g. new offers, new chats, new feedback, new comments). These updates will be sent by email and/or through push notifications and you can choose to unsubscribe from these updates at any time through the “Settings” page of your Account.
4.13.              To send you marketing and/or promotional materials on the latest products and services of Zupe or carefully selected third parties. These updates will be sent by email and/or through push notifications and you can choose to unsubscribe from these marketing communications via the link in the email you have received and/or through the “Settings” page of your Account. These marketing communications may also be communicated to you through text messages and/or voice calls if you have indicated that youu wish to receive such updates through these methods.
4.14.              With your consent or indication of no objection, to send you marketing and/or promotional materials on the following types of products and services of Zupe and/or carefully selected third parties: household products, general merchandise, retail goods or services, food, water & beverages, restaurants, catering, groceries, health & beauty, lifestyle, pharmaceuticals, fragrance & cosmetics, baby products, books and paper products, confectionary, toys, clothing, shoes, textiles, fashion accessories, electronics and electrical appliances, computer software and games, music, pet products, fuel, motor vehicle services, educational products and services, entertainment products, financial, investment, insurance, banking and credit cards, logistics, travel, hotel and accommodation, sports, leisure, recreation and entertainment.
4.15.              To send you service-related messages including, without limitation, a welcome/confirmation email when you register your Account and to enforce our Terms of Service and other policies. These messages are not promotional in nature. These messages will be sent by email and/or through push notifications and you may not opt-out of receiving service-related messages from Zupe, unless you deactivate your account.
