For someone new to your practice, how would you describe what you do?

I use imagination to shift beliefs because our beliefs shape our reality. By changing how we see our world and problems, we can transform our lives. I also help people let go of societal conditioning to discover their true selves using self-enquiry practices.

What are the key benefits of your practice?

My practice helps people let go of anxiety, depression, and fear by providing the right tools and perspectives.

Tell us more about your love of magic and how it links to hypnotherapy.

I stumbled upon hypnosis through magic. Magic, to me, is a craft that points to the elusive nature of reality, and a lot of it is about playing with perception and hypnosis is a fantastic tool and direct link for that.

What are you really excited about in your field right now?

I'm diving deep into non-duality teachings, which are about letting go of delusions and reconnecting with our true nature and the source of happiness.

What’s one wellness practice that you believe everyone could (and should) pick up tomorrow, and why?

Meditation first thing in the morning. It’s a great way to start the day in our distraction-filled world. The benefits are profound and increasingly important as technology advances in the age of social media.

And what’s one wellness practice you’d like to never see again, and why?

The over-prescription of ADHD meds and antidepressants. While they can be valid treatments, we should consider them carefully because many issues can be alleviated with better mental practices.

What’s the biggest myth you’ve come across about hypnotherapy?

The idea that there’s a distinct hypnotic state. Everything that triggers our imagination is hypnosis. Understanding this has greatly improved my hypnotherapy success.

Do you have a hero wellness product or tool that you can’t get enough of right now?

Sam Harris's Waking Up app. I can’t recommend it enough.

Is there a wellness podcast or book you are listening to or reading at the moment that you’d recommend? Tell us a little bit about why you love it.

Rupert Spira's The Nature of Consciousness. His views on non-duality are so clear and understandable. It’s changed how I see myself and the world, and I think everyone should read it.

What does “Superhealth” mean to you?

Superhealth means the ability to listen your body, mind, and inner voice, and making decisions based on what you truly need.

If you could share one piece of wellness advice with the Zupe community, what would it be?

Don’t forget to breathe.

What’s your go-to track to get pumped up before a workout?

I don’t use music when I work out. I practice Ashtanga yoga, ideally in silence.

What’s your guilty pleasure (because no one is healthy 100% of the time!)?

Chocolate.
